Unpopular opinion.

It’s 2026. Look around—what do you see? Noise everywhere. Distraction everywhere. Restlessness everywhere. Overstimulated minds everywhere. There is more information than ever, yet so few people live in alignment. Do people know who they are? Do they know their purpose? Are they truly resting—in mind, heart, spirit, and body? Or is everyone running, striving to be the next big thing, the next billionaire, the next connection—believing that something external will finally complete them? The world has lost something vital: inner rest, alignment, purpose, and fulfilment. And here’s the hard truth—the world is moving backward. People are chasing money, houses, cars, and luxury, forgetting that these things are added blessings , not foundations. They make life easier, but they were never meant to make us whole. What’s missing is truth . Truth in Jesus. Identity in Jesus. Healing in Jesus. Peace in Jesus. Wholeness found in worshiping the God who restores the soul. ...

Don’t be so focused on the future that you forget to live in the present moment.

This is for the serious ones. The ones who are mission-focused, alert, sensitive, driven, and determined to live out a better future than a broken past. The ones who carry a deep conviction to rise above the patterns, cycles, and limitations of the generations and bloodlines they come from. That level of focus often comes from a place of “never again.” Never again will I fall into the same traps. Never again will I repeat the same mistakes. It ends with me. Because of that, you carry a powerful sense of determination, insight, and foresight. You are intentional about walking in your purpose and avoiding deception, manipulation, and lies that could pull you back into places that took so long to come out of. At your core, you simply don’t want to play games with darkness again. But there is a danger here too. When focus becomes extreme, it can turn into fear. You can become so careful that you stop living. You stop being present. You stop experiencing. You stop feeling. ...

The closer you get to God, the more naked you become.

Nor shall you go up by steps to My altar, that your nakedness may not be exposed on it. — Exodus 20:26 The presence of God leads you into your nakedness, and this nakedness is a form of self-reflection that reaches deep into your mind, body, soul, and spirit. Self-reflection is intertwined with repentance. The best way I can explain repentance is through constructive criticism. Constructive criticism refers to feedback delivered with the intent of helping someone improve their performance or behaviour. However, repentance comes from the Holy Spirit, which is divine and has the power to help you grow in your actions and character. Constructive criticism is a secular act that occurs within professional workplace roles. Many people believe in Jesus, yet there is a lack of growth in their character development, a lack of a pure heart, and a lack of a clean conscience. This is because they approach God as if He is a genie, in a self-centred way— “give me, give me, give me”—and n...

Rest.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding — Proverbs 3:5–6   In a world obsessed with control, performance, metrics, validation, and self-made success, trusting God—His timing, provision, and plan—is a abnormal! Rest comes not by doing more but by letting go and relying on God. Being in motion is not the issue. But what is the intention behind it? That business idea, that social media influence you desire to start, that service you are doing in church—whatever it may be—is not as important as rest. I am not talking about the type of rest where you sit on the couch, watch Netflix, and eat your favourite pizza, even though that kind of rest has its place. We live in a generation running like headless chickens—with no direction, striving, tired, burdened, filled with anxiety, carrying unhealed trauma, desperate to “make it,” yet missing the true understanding of what it means to make it. Being financially free is one thing, and ther...

Purity

Purity is a strength this world has lost. Purity comes only from the Creator of the world—God Himself. Yet God does not force Himself on anyone; He has given us free will. The question is this: do we allow our mind, spirit, heart, and body to be influenced by Satan, who operates in this world, or do we surrender to the God who has everything under His control—including Satan? Purity is power. Purity overcomes darkness. Purity within can only rule a human being if they are walking with Jesus daily. If you are not with Jesus, then you are with Satan or ruled by him, with or without consciousness. Now, how do we walk in purity? It requires change. And true inward change first requires the Holy Spirit. Because through Him, belief is birthed. You must disconnect yourself from false beliefs so that you can align with the right belief—what your mind and heart recognize as right and wrong. After you are aligned with the right belief, habits change. Those habits are no longer like t...

The power of Forgiveness

It would not make sense to me if you told me that there is no one on earth, in your entire life, who hasn’t hurt you in one way or another. Whether it was a family member, a stranger, a friend, an ex-husband, or an ex-partner — at some point, someone has caused you pain. I am not here to emphasise the mistakes, the sins, or the wrongs that were done to you — whether they were done knowingly or unknowingly, with evil intentions or by mistake. The focal point is this: the damage is done. The person who wronged you cannot take it back. However, you have full control over how you respond to the person who hurt you and caused you deep pain. Let me start by saying this: healing begins with forgiveness. Psychological research consistently shows that unforgiveness keeps the body in a prolonged stress response. When we hold onto resentment, our nervous system can remain activated in fight-or-flight mode, increasing stress hormones such as cortisol, which over time impacts both mental an...

Alone with God.

Have you ever overcome on your own? The process of change, transformation, and growth—the journey of freedom and healing. The victory, the glory, the radiance people see in public that makes them pause and think “wow.” Yet they do not know the depth of your story. They do not see what it cost you. They do not know how much was overcome in silence—just you and God. No audience. No applause. Psychology has long observed that the deepest identity formation often occurs in seasons of isolation. Carl Jung described this process as individuation —the separation of the self from external validation so a stable, integrated identity can emerge (Jung, 1959). Erik Erikson similarly taught that identity consolidation requires withdrawal from roles, relationships, and expectations that once defined the self (Erikson, 1968). Spiritually, this mirrors sanctification—the dismantling of the old self so something new can be formed (2 Corinthians 5:17). There is a quiet trauma that comes from...

Never say never.

Esther 2:17 And the king loved Esther more than any of the other young women. He was so delighted with her that he set the royal crown on her head and declared her queen instead of Vashti. Esther was a hidden treasure, yet she was not revealed while she was still living with Mordecai. She lived in exile in Persia among a people who had lost their land, their temple, and their national independence. Esther was not in Jerusalem; she was part of the Jewish community living under a foreign empire — the Persian kingdom. Before the palace, Esther lived an ordinary, displaced life, not a privileged one. She was an orphan, raised by her cousin Mordecai. She had no parents, no inherited protection, and no status. The Bible simply describes her as, “the young woman was lovely and beautiful.” There was no glory, no wealth, nothing flashy, and nothing recorded about who she truly was. Scripture highlights what she lacked — that she was an orphan — and what she had — her beauty in form...
